On Jan. 18, something unprecedented happened in the financial world. The bond company, Ambec, lost their AAA rating. Bond companies insure the banks and there are just a handful of them.
Well, the banks have fallen, and at lightening speed, I might add. Now the bond companies are collapsing. My concern over this is the bond companies are secured by “pension funds,” American pension funds.
If you’re in one, pull you’re money out. It is safer to risk the penalty for early withdraw than to lose all of it.
I highly recommend you contact your pension fund holder and see if your pension is part of this.
