The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries is closed for inventory.
8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.
6 p.m. First Congregational United Church of Christ hosts a free movie night at the church. The movie is “Three Faiths, One God: Judaism, Christianity, Islam.”
Thursday, Jan. 17
The Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries reopens.
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., features Winnie-the-Pooh and Hundred Acre Wood.
Noon to 1 p.m. The second of two radon education programs will be offered at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. A light meal and short-term radon test kit will be provided free to participants. Pre-registration is required by calling Elisa at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office at 824-9180.
6 p.m. The second of college two financial aid seminars to discuss grants, loans, work-study and scholarships is in the Moffat County High School library. “Since the financial aid process requires forms and tax returns as well as patience, we will help you get the process underway,” according to a press release. Seniors should plan to attend either night at MCHS. Call Paula Duzik at the high school at 824-7036.
Friday, Jan. 18
6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

8 to 9 a.m. The MS Support Group meets for breakfast at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. Public is invited. Call Kathy at 871-7661.
10 a.m. The Hands-On Quilters meets at the Craig Fire Station. Call Cheryl at 824-2567.
11 a.m. An informational meeting for those interested in going on the annual We See D.C. trip is at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. If you cannot make that meeting, call Courtney Jenison at 970-620-0753.
1 to 4 p.m. The VFW Ladies Auxiliary No. 4265 is sponsoring the “Just Say No” coloring contest for students, grades first through eighth, upstairs of the VFW Restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. Call 824-6810
Sunday, Jan. 20
Deadline to sign up for a Soldiers’ Snowmobile Ride, which is scheduled for the Craig area. The ride, which is a salute to veterans, is free for military personnel and their spouses. Call Stan at 970-326-7160.
1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.
