The Craig Branch of the Moffat County Libraries is closed for inventory.

5:45 to 7 p.m. Several Northwest Colorado agencies are working together to create a campaign to prevent underage drinking, which will focus on parent responsibility, community education and youth access to alcohol in our community. The meeting is in Moffat County High School library. Refreshments will be provided. Call Diane Miller at the Visiting Nurse Association at 871-7609.

6 p.m. The first of two college financial aid seminars to discuss grants, loans, work-study and scholarships is in the Moffat County High School choir room. “Since the financial aid process requires forms and tax returns as well as patience, we will help you get the process under way,” according to a press release. Seniors should plan to attend either night at MCHS. Call Paula Duzik at the high school at 824-7036.

6 to 7 p.m. The first of two radon education programs will be offered at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. A light meal and short-term radon test kit will be provided free to participants. Preregistration is required by contacting Elisa at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office, 824-9180.
