The 13th annual Art Walk, co-sponsored by the Downtown Business Association and the Colorado Northwestern Community College pottery program, is from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 9 in downtown Craig.

“Join hundreds of art lovers for this fun, and sometimes cold, community event,” according to a press release.

Local artists will display their work in downtown businesses. Musicians also will perform at some businesses.

The “Taste of Chocolate” competition returns for its second year and will allow 100 ticket buyers to taste and vote for their favorite chocolate concoction.

CNCC pottery students will have their annual “Buy the Soup, Keep the Bowl” fundraiser at the Center of Craig. Students also will have pottery for sale during Art Walk.

The city of Craig Centennial Committee will announce the winner of the Centennial Poster Contest. All entries will be on display at the Center of Craig and for sale through a silent auction. Stop by and vote for your favorite piece.

If you are an artist or would like to participate as a business, call Carol Wilson at Neolithics at 824-4580.

For more information about the Centennial Poster Contest, contact Pam Foster at pamdesigns@hotmail.com or 824-8244.

Applications are available at Pam Designs, Craig Chamber of Commerce and City of Craig offices.
