9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aging Well’s program “Wellness Wednesdays” for seniors “50 and better” is at the American Legion Building. It includes activities and a lunchtime presentation. This week’s presentation is “More about Alzheimer’s and Ways to Maintain your Brain” by Donna Hackley, program evaluation and special projects coordinator for The Aging Well Program and Volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter. 6:40 a.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce’s quarterly Wake-Up Craig breakfast, sponsored by Laurus Associates and hosted by the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association, is at the Park Cafe, 419 E. 10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., this week features law enforcement. Officer Bryan Gonzales is scheduled to make a presentation.
6 p.m. The Craig Trap Club hosts its annual board meeting and Polar Bear League signup at the Trap Club, west of Craig on U.S. Highway 40. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting and sign up. Call 824-6223.
7 p.m. Archaeologist Jerry Spangler gives a presentation at the Center of Craig on developing a balanced approach toward preserving the cultural history in places such as Range Creek, Vermillion Basin and other places on the Colorado Plateau. 6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care is provided. Late-comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

9:30 a.m. An avalanche awareness training, hosted by the Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club, is at the Freeman trailhead, about 11 miles north on Highway 13. The seminar is free. Call 824-5353 or 824-4198.
