Craig Two radon education programs will be offered at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. The first class is from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 15, and the second class is from noon to 1 p.m. Jan. 17. A light meal and short-term radon test kit will be provided free to participants. Registration is required by contacting Elisa at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office at 824-9180.
Avalanche awareness seminar is Jan. 12
An avalanche awareness training, hosted by the Northwest Colorado Snowmobile Club, is at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 12. Participants will meet at the Freeman trailhead, approximately 11 miles north on Highway 13. The seminar is free and open to everyone involved in backcountry recreation during the winter months. Help with paying rent available to some
Help paying rent may be available for people with disabilities and people with low income through the Independent Life Center section 8 housing choice voucher program.
