6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care are provided. Latecomers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

Saturday, Jan. 5

The Moffat County Ice Arena will be closed due to a hockey tournament.

5 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4265 hosts its monthly Senior Citizen's Dinner at the VFW Restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. Chili, cornbread, vegetables, apples and gingerbread will be served. Call Jeannie Wixson at 276-3145.

Sunday, Jan. 6

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

5:30 p.m. The Northwestern Colorado American Pool players Association 8-ball pool league is at the Popular Bar. Play starts Jan. 6, and the last day to join is Jan. 28. Call 826-2783.

Monday, Jan. 7

6 to 7 p.m. The Moffat County High School Accountability Committee is scheduled to meet at the high school library.

7 p.m. The Northwestern Colorado American Pool players Association 8-ball pool league is at the Popular Bar. Play starts Jan. 6, and the last day to join is Jan. 28. Call 826-2783.

6:30 p.m. Holistic Health & Fitness Center, 420 Breeze St., is hosting a healthy potluck exchange, where dishes and recipes can be exchanged. For more information or to RSVP, call 824-4700.

Tuesday, Jan. 8

5:30 p.m. Ask-A-Lawyer Night is at the Moffat County Library. It is a free, first-come, first-served consultation for residents to meet 10 to 15 minutes with a member of the Northwest Colorado Bar Association to discuss civil legal issues. The Northwest Colorado Legal Services Project and the Moffat County Libraries sponsor the project. Call 970-276-2161 or 800-521-6968.

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. "Pulse" Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aging Well program Wellness Wednesdays for seniors "50 and better" is at the American Legion Building. It includes activities and a lunchtime presentation. This week's presentation is "More about Alzheimer's and Ways to Maintain your Brain" by Donna Hackley, program evaluation and special projects coordinator for The Aging Well Program and Volunteer for the Alzheimer's Association Colorado Chapter. Thursday, Jan. 10

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St., features law enforcement week. Officer Bryan Gonzales is scheduled to make a presentation.
