Registration for the NU ME weight loss program begins at Trapper Health Club, 261 Commerce St. Registration is $50 and limited to club members. Members can register at any time during the six-month program. Call 824-6932.

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

10:30 a.m. SHARE Craig registration takes place in the community room at Sunset Meadows II. Call Ginny at 326-3003.

11 a.m. SHARE Craig registration takes place in the community room at Sunset Meadows I. Call Ginny at 326-3003.

5 to 7 p.m. SHARE Craig registration takes place at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

7 p.m. Holistic Health and Fitness is scheduled to host an introductory meeting for four- and eight-week Fit Camp fitness programs. Registration is open through Jan. 7. Fees for the eight-week program are $329 and $200 for the four-week program. Discounts are available for gym members. Call 824-4700 for more information.

Thursday, Jan. 3

10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Moffat Counties Libraries Craig branch, 570 Green St., is author day. Listen to stories written by Jane Yolen.

Noon. The Moffat County United Way board meets at the Holiday Inn. The meeting is open to the public.

Friday, Jan. 4

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

Saturday, Jan. 5

5 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4265 hosts its monthly Senior Citizen’s Dinner at the VFW Restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. Chili, cornbread, vegetables, apples and gingerbread will be served. Call Jeannie Wixson at 276-3145.

Sunday, Jan. 6

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

5:30 p.m. The Northwestern Colorado American Pool players Association 8-ball pool league is at the Popular Bar. Play starts Jan. 6, and the last day to join is Jan. 28. Call 826-2783.

6 to 7 p.m. The Moffat County High School Accountability Committee is scheduled to meet at the high school library.
