Craig man arrested on drug charges

Craig A Craig man was arrested Monday on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine, after a month-long joint investigation by the Steamboat Springs Police Department and the All Crimes Enforcement Team.
Steven William Skiff, 24, was arrested at about 4:45 a.m. during a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 40 and Mount Werner Road in Steamboat Springs. Skiff was booked into Routt County Jail and charged with possession of a Schedule II substance with intent to distribute, driving under the influence of drugs, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and fugitive of justice.
Skiff remained in custody in Routt County Jail on Tuesday afternoon. No court appearances have been scheduled.
Aging Well, CNCC offering special class
Everyone has a story to tell. That's according to organizers of a new memoir writing class offered through the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association's Aging Well program and Colorado Northwestern Community College.
The class is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. each Wednesday beginning Feb. 27. Classes run until April 16, and a second session is scheduled from April 23 to June 11.
It is free to students ages 62 and older, and reduced rates are available for CNCC students and others.
