6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig is open for a play day. Participants can help prepare for the Winter Carnival at the Wyman Museum.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care are provided. Late-comers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

Saturday, Feb. 16

The Moffat County Libraries is closed for Presidents Day.

8 to 9 a.m. The MS Support Group meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop for breakfast. The public is invited. Call Kathy at 871-7661.

9 a.m. The 19th annual Vintage Snowmobile Show and X-treme Mountain Racing takes place at the Wyman Museum. Call 824-6346.

11 a.m. The Third Annual Craig Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Chili Cook-Off takes place at the Wyman Museum. Entries must be filled out and returned to the Chamber no later than Feb. 11 or e-mailed to assistant@craig-chamber.com. The entry fee for Chamber members is $15 and $20 for non-members. Checks payable to the Chamber are due before judging begins at 1 p.m.

6 p.m. The American Legion Post No. 62 hosts bingo night at the Elk’s Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Eleven games will be played. Doors open at 5 p.m. A 10-game pack costs $15. Call 824-3625.

2 to 3 p.m. Paige Durbin, a Moffat County elementary school student, reads her essay about her great-grandmother at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. The essay recently was published in “Relatively Speaking: A Book by Kids, about Family, for Everyone.” Call 824-5343.

Sunday, Feb. 17

The Moffat County Libraries is closed for Presidents Day.

9 a.m. The 19th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Show and X-treme Mountain Racing takes place at the Wyman Museum. Call 824-6346.

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

Monday, Feb. 18

The Moffat County Libraries is closed for Presidents Day.

9 to 11 a.m. Toddler/preschool playgroup is at Serendipity’s. Call Kevin at 824-1703.

6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Boys & Girls Club of Craig is open for a play day.

5:30 p.m. The Moffat County Libraries Board of Trustees meeting is at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.

Tuesday, Feb. 19

6:30 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting, “State of the County: An inside look at Moffat County,” is at the Craig Holiday Inn, 300 S. Colorado Highway 13. Tickets are $40 a person and $70 a couple and are available at the Craig Chamber of Commerce. Check the Chamber’s event page at www.craig-chamber.com for more information.

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. “Pulse” Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. The club is for all ages. Call 824-6424.

Wednesday, Feb. 20

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Aging Well’s all-day program “Wellness Wednesdays” is at the American Legion Building for adults 50 and older. This week’s lunchtime presentation is “Ambulance Service and the Lifeline Program” presented by The Memorial Hospital Emergency Management Service Staff. Lunch will be served. Call 871-7676.
