Craig To the Editor:
I’d like to send out a heartfelt thank you for whomever was kind enough to plow our driveway Friday on Meadow Lane.
You have no idea how much I appreciate your thoughtfulness. The day before, on Thursday, I pulled a tendon in my right wrist. On Thursday night, it snowed seven inches and the snowdrifts were three-feet deep. I was five hours late to work because I had only a snow shovel to clear the driveway at 3 a.m.
All day it snowed and the wind howled. I knew I had a huge job ahead of me again when I got home from work. I was not even sure I could shovel out again with my hurting wrist.
I was stunned to come home to a plowed driveway. To my surprise and amazement, a kind soul, I have no idea whom, had cleared my entire driveway. I almost cried out of overwhelming gratitude. You helped me so, so much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
