Craig Monday is starting out as usual after a not-so quiet weekend.
Even with snow piled up almost to whatever it is in different places, deer are in the yard, squirrels are running along telephone lines and across the street to scamper up the trees, and crows are cawing nearby.
Isn't nature wonderful?
Add to that vehicles going by as if there is no ice on the street. Aren't people wonderful?
I would like to personally thank the Cedar Mountain Lions Club for their Valentine luncheon for the seniors at Sunset Meadows I and II on Sunday.
Happy birthday to Ethel Hottell and Evelyn Powell. Get well to Marty Cisar, Ralph Razzano, Karen Prince, Smokey Werner and Joan Carsteno.
There will be a potluck at noon Friday at Sunset Meadows I.
No bus or meal service at Sunset Meadows on Monday because of the President's Day holiday.
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association's Wellness Clinic is 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 19 at Sunset Meadows I.
