- Diana Buckley and Elijah Liestman, of Grand Junction, announce the birth of their son, Deakon Jay Liestman, born Nov. 20, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction. The baby 7 pounds, 1 ounce and measured 18.5 inches. His grandparents are Jay and Linda Buckley, of Craig, and Barry and Becky Liestman, of Parachute.
- Jessica and Mickey Profumo, of Craig, announce the birth of their daughter, Adrian Sophia Profumo, at 6:40 a.m. Dec. 3, 2008, at Yampa Valley Medical Center. The baby weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 19.5 inches. Her grandparents are Haruko and Mike Profumo, of Castro Valley, Calif.; Ron and Pam Knott, of Livermore, Calif.; and Deborah and Dave Walker, of Pleasanton, Calif. Adrian is welcomed home by her siblings, Olivia and Michael.
