August 25, 2008
Twelve local students have qualified for induction into the 2007-08 National Honor Roll.
The National Honor Roll recognizes high-achieving high school and middle school students.
"Young people such as our inductees, who work hard to attain academic success, deserve to be congratulated," National Honor Roll publisher Lynn Romeo said in a news release. "Honoring their achievements provides motivation and encourages them to continue striving toward their goals. We're proud to include them in the National Honor Roll."
Moffat County High School students who qualified are: Caitlin Bogdin, Colton Conrad, April E. Etheridge, Billy Gurr, Jennifer Harris, Madysen Jourgensen, Tyler Roach, Angelia Simpson and Velvet Warne.
Mataya Flaharty, of Steamboat Springs High School, Jonathan Lee, of Hayden High School, and Dana Shaffer, of Soroco High School, also qualified.
