8:30 a.m. Colorado Northwestern Community College Power Plant Tour: Community members are invited to join students interested in learning about the power plant industry and the Craig Station first-hand. The tour group meets at the CNCC-Craig Campus, will leave at 9 a.m. and will take about two hours. For information, call 824-1110.
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story-time takes place at the Craig branch of the Moffat County Libraries, 570 Green St. This week's theme is Orville Wright's birthday. Please arrive 10 minutes early to avoid distractions. Call 824-5116.
3 to 6 p.m. Palisade peaches and plums from Juicy Acres, cheese, buffalo meat, locally grown tomatoes, squash, garden plants, seeds, herbs and other local items available at the Farmer's Market in Alice Pleasant Park. Call 824-5343.

9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. A new student registration session takes place at Craig Intermediate School, 201 E. Ninth St., for students in fifth through eighth grade who are new to Craig this fall. Students enrolled in Moffat County schools last year are not required to attend. For more information, call 824-3289.
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wyman Museum will host a blacksmith who will do demonstrations. For information, call 824-6346.
7 to 9 p.m. The Colorado Division of Wildlife sponsors a hunter education course at Mountain Valley Bank at 400 Main St. in Meeker. The course is free, but completion of the course is required for everyone born after Jan. 1, 1949, to hunt in Colorado.
