August is going on around the corner. The season is well into fall. Snow on the mountain.
Did you expect that?
Colorado weather, that’s all.
Like the weather, I, too, have had sudden changes lately in my life. Hey, that’s life. Birthday dates don’t change. This week I have Gladys Mansfield, Pat Whitesell and Beverly Higgins.
Speedy recovery — Get well to Monica Robbins, Anna Roach, Jim Hibbard, Dona Ward, Chase Anderson and Sophie Lazara.
AARP meeting at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Meadows 1.
Got a note from Mary Roland’s daughter. Mary’s recuperating at Launchwood Inns in Grand Junction. Mary fell June 10 and broke her left elbow and her right leg below and above the kneecap. She’s doing well while she recovers from a broken wrist suffered last year. Mary wanted me to know she is doing well. She reads the Craig Daily Press.
Would like to hear from you. Mary Roland: 999 Bookcliff, F5, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
Carol can be reached at 970-243-1397.
To share your news in the daily press, call me at 824-2139.
Thanks,
Mary Jo Brown
