DOW holding hunter education course
The Colorado Division of Wildlife will offer a hunter education course Aug. 22 to 24 at Mountain Valley Bank, 400 Main St., in Meeker. Completion of hunter education is required for anyone born after Jan. 1, 1949, who wants to hunt in Colorado.
There is no cost for this hunter education course, but donations to the Meeker Sportsman's Club will be accepted. The course is limited to the first 40 people who register by calling the Meeker Department of Wildlife office at 970-878-6090.
Course times will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 22 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 23 and 24.
Free immunization clinic for children
Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will offer a free immunization clinic for children ages 3 and younger from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (Aug. 9) at the Hayden Fire Station.
Get up to date on your child's immunizations, get a free car seat check, and a free heart health screening for adults.
Parents should bring the child's immunization record to the clinic.

SHARE Craig dates announced to public
SHARE Craig has announced dates for registration and distribution in August.
Today, SHARE Craig registration will take place at 10:30 a.m. at Sunset Meadows No. 2 in the community room, and then at 11.m. at Sunset Meadows No. 1 in the conference room.
