Craig — To the editor:

We would like to publicly thank the following people and organizations for their generous support and donations to our Celebrate Recovery group at First Baptist Church.

We are very appreciative of the way our community has embraced our group, our members and our purpose. First, we would say a huge thanks to Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse for its financial donation, which will help greatly to send several of our members and leaders to California for leadership training. It is so important for us to be re-energized and educated in how to continue to guide others in our shared walk of recovery. We also would like to thank Frito-Lay for donating many bags of chips, City Market for donating the buns and the community for eating up all of those chips and buns at our Fourth of July fundraiser.

It was very successful and everyone had a great time and a great view of the fireworks. Sometimes, a small thing to one is a huge thing to others. It is huge to us that you all were willing to share your generosity with us. Thanks, and God bless.
