Have you noticed how each day brings its own beauty? It’s all around us. On Sunday, my daughter Jane and I went for a short drive. What a wonderful panorama spread before us. The views were beautiful.
The changing scenery was a sight to make anyone feel good, just like our upcoming birthdays for: Jim Compestine, Jim Herod, Larry Keller and June Collins.
Get well/speedy recovery to Richard Manson, Don Seick and Margaret Thompson.
This week also brings in the beginning of May. Thursday is May 1, and Sunset Meadows II, 595 Ledford St., will have a yard sale from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be a special — all items for 10 cents sale — on that day.
The main sale will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. It will take place indoors and outdoors.
In case of bad weather, all items will be indoors. For more information, call Judo at 824-6789. The Veterans of Foreign Wars senior dinner is at 5 p.m. Saturday.
The Sunset Meadows I potluck is noon Friday. Bring a friend.
News is always welcome. Call me at 824-2139.

Question of the week
Steamboat Springs is considering adopting a social host ordinance, which would add harsher punishments — such as jail time — for adults who knowingly “host” parties where underage drinking is allowed. Do you think Craig needs a social host ordinance?
