6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups in a safe environment. Live worship music and child care are provided. Latecomers are welcome. Call Caroline at 620-0659.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Bears Ears Sportsman Spring Gun Show is at Lowdy Simpson Park Ice Arena.

8 p.m. to midnight. The 2008 Realtor 50s sock hop bowling scholarship fundraiser is at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Ave. Cost is $25, which includes shows, bowling balls, food and prizes.

Sunday, April 20

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Bears Ears Sportsman Spring Gun Show is at Lowdy Simpson Park Ice Arena.

1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The event is open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

5:30 p.m. The Moffat County Libraries Board of Trustees meeting is at the Craig branch, 570 Green St.

Tuesday, April 22

Earth Day

The Moffat County Libraries will be closed for computer upgrades.

7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Kindergarten registration for the 2008-09 school year takes place at East, Sunset and Ridgeview elementary schools. A student must be 5 years old before Aug. 31, 2008, to be eligible for kindergarten. The child's birth certificate and immunization record are needed.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m. A driver safety program sponsored by AARP is at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford. Cost is $10. RSVP at 824-5123 or 824-2139.
