The Memorial Hospital Chief Clinical Officer Bob Lindberg has advanced to Fellow status in the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society representing nearly 30,000 health care executives.

Fellow is the highest level of professional achievement in ACHE.

Fellow status represents continued achievement in meeting high standards of professional development, excellence and leadership as a health care executive. To obtain Fellow status, candidates must demonstrate their education, experience and leadership in the health care field during a period of several years. They must also complete a significant project on a subject related to health care management.

"This is a great accomplishment for Bob and we are proud that he is a part of our dynamic leadership team," said George Rohrich, TMH chief executive officer. "The Fellow status process is highly demanding and achievement of this goal speaks to Bob's commitment to health care."

Lindberg is a registered nurse and currently oversees operations for the emergency room, surgery, radiology, laboratory, physical therapy, emergency medical services, pharmacy, dietary, inpatient services, cardiopulmonary, wellness and diabetic education, obstetrics and patient care planning at TMH.

Lindberg has been chief clinical officer since September 2006. Before coming to Craig, Lindberg was the chief clinical officer at Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez. He has been in executive level management for 14 years.
