8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

Noon. The Yampa Valley Ladies Golf luncheon takes place at the Tin Cup Grill. Call 824-6445.

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Moffat County Libraries branch in Craig, 570 Green St. Today's theme is favorite farm animals.

5:30 p.m. Comunidad Integrada conducts an interpreter training seminar at the Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell St., in the Silver Room on the main floor. Training is open to anyone fluent in Spanish. Comunidad Integrada receives grant money from the Equality in Health Cooperative and United Way to pay interpreters, starting at $20 per hour.

Friday, Sept. 28

1 p.m. The VA Medical Center of Grand Junction is hosting the dedication ceremony for the Craig Community VA Telehealth Clinic at 551 Tucker St. Invitations have been sent to invited dignitaries and require a RSVP. The ceremony is open general public

1 p.m. Dedication takes place of the new telehealth clinic at 551 Tucker St., across from the Bank of the West parking lot. The event is open to the public.
