8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sheep Wagon Days are at the Wyman Museum, located three miles east of Craig on U.S. Highway 40.

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A scrapbooking meeting is scheduled at the First Baptist Church. Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch, as well as their pictures and ideas. Call Sonja at 620-4290.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The American Red Cross hosts an "Are You Ready?" preparedness program at the Holiday Inn of Craig. Call Cathy Campbell at 970-229-5728.

5 p.m. A free community harvest dance takes place at Lodore Hall in Browns Park. A live band will perform and food will be available. Call 272-3213 or 269-3000.

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sheep Wagon Days are at the Wyman Museum, located three miles east of Craig on U.S. Highway 40. The mutton busting competition is from 4 to 5 p.m. for children up to 8 years old.

Monday, Sept. 17

10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Moffat County Libraries branch in Craig, 570 Green St. Today's theme is Constitution Day, as stories to be read are about the U.S. There will also be patriotic activities.

4 p.m. A Multiple Sclerosis support group will at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association Craig office, 745 Russell Street, in the Platinum Room. All individuals with MS and their families/caregivers are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. Call Kathy Darveau or Sandy Beran for more information at 824-8233.

5:30 p.m. The monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Moffat County Libraries is at Craig branch, 570 Green St. The public is welcome to attend.

6 p.m. The Craig Intermediate School Parent Advisory Council meets school, 201 E. Ninth St., in the library. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

10 a.m. The Maybell Interdenominational Bible Church hosts a community barbecue in appreciation of the families who helped build the church. All food, drinks and table service are provided.

5:30 p.m. Comunidad Integrada conducts an interpreter training seminar at the Visiting Nurse Association, 745 Russell St., in the Silver Room on the main floor. Training is open to anyone fluent in Spanish. Comunidad Integrada receives grant money from the Equality in Health Cooperative and United Way to pay interpreters, starting at $20 per hour.

Saturday, Sept. 29

7 p.m. Moffat County High School presents "Magic Magic Magic show." The show is sponsored by the Humane Society of Moffat County to raise funds for special needs at the shelter, care for abused and abandoned animals, and medical expenses such as vaccination and the spay/neuter program. Friday, Oct. 19

7:30 p.m. The Young Life Outdoor Auction and Pig Roast is at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. There will be a pig roast and auction containing items for avid outdoorsmen and women. Tickets cost $10. Tickets can be reserved at mocoyounglife@yahoo.com or by calling 970-629-9600.

Sunday, Dec. 9

2 p.m. The Local Talent Contest put on by the Craig Concert Association takes place in the Moffat County High School auditorium.
