8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.
6 to 7:30 p.m. The Colorado State Extension Office Gardening Club meets at the Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. Participants will share successes and challenges from the 2007 gardening/landscaping season, plus share surplus crops, if available. For more information, contact Elisa at 824-9180.
Thursday, Sept. 13
9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at at Serendipity Coffee Shop. "Gertrude Bell: Queen of the Desert, Shaper of Nations," by Georgina Howell will be reviewed by Marian Simons. Call Marian at 824-7368.
3 to 6 p.m. The Downtown Business Association sponsors a farmer's market at Alice Pleasant Park. This is the last farmer's market of the year. They will begin again in July 2008. Call 824-5343.
4 p.m. Craig Poets meet at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. Call 824-5343 for more information.
6:30 p.m. The Moffat County Democrats has its monthly meeting at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. Victory Way.
7 to 9:30 p.m. The Sweet Adelines are hosting special guest rehearsal where women can learn to sing in the Sunset Elementary music room. Call 824-8326.
Friday, Sept. 14
9 a.m. to noon Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association hosts its first Coop Class. It costs $3 per family for nonmembers. Call Michelle Peters for more information at 620-0283

Saturday, Sept. 15
10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The American Red Cross hosts an "Are You Ready?" preparedness program at the Holiday Inn of Craig. Call Cathy Campbell at 970-229-5728.
5 p.m. A free community harvest dance takes place at Lodore Hall in Browns Park. A live band will perform and food will be available. Call 272-3213 or 269-3000.
Monday, Sept. 17
4 p.m. A Multiple Sclerosis support group will at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association Craig office, 745 Russell Street, in the Platinum Room. 6 p.m. The Craig Intermediate School Parent Advisory Council meets school, 201 E. Ninth St., in the library. All parents are invited and encouraged to attend.
7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.
