Church to show its appreciation

The Maybell Interdenominational Bible Church will host a community barbecue at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at the church. The church is throwing the barbecue in appreciation of the people who helped build the church.

Daryl Steele is furnishing the meat and Don Steele is cooking. All food, drinks and table serve are provided.

Learn to sing with

the Sweet Adelines

The Sweet Adelines are hosting a special guest rehearsal where women can learn to sing from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday in the Sunset Elementary music room. Call 824-8326.

Multiple Sclerosis group to meet Monday

A Multiple Sclerosis support group will meet from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 17, at the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association Craig office, 745 Russell Street, in the Platinum Room.

All individuals with MS and their families/caregivers are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. Call Kathy Darveau or Sandy Beran for more information at 824-8233.

Comunidad Integrada event to host VNA table

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will have a table at the Comunidad Integrada event, Festival of the Americas, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 15 at Little Toots Park in Steamboat Springs.

Immunizations including Hep B, A, DTaP, IPV, MMR, Hib, Prevnar, Rotavirus will be free for children 3 years old and younger. Parents must bring their child's immunization record. Spanish interpretation will be provided. Additional health materials for children and adults available and there will be free stuffed animals for young children.

Aging Well aquatics class begins Sept. 17

The Arthritis Foundation Aquatics class, sponsored by the Aging Well Program, starts Sept. 17 and will run eight weeks from 9 to 10 a.m. Mondays at the Shadow Mountain Clubhouse pool in Craig.

There is no fee for the class through Aging Well. American Legion Pool fees of $3.50 per class do apply. For more information call the Aging Well Line at 871-7676.
