8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

Noon. The Cancer Education Support Group, sponsored by the VNA, is scheduled to meet in the conference room of the Steamboat Springs VNA, 940 Central Park Drive, Suite 101. 4 to 6 p.m. Trick-or-Treat Street, a place for youths to trick-or-treat at downtown businesses, takes place.

5 to 7 p.m. Trick-or-treating is scheduled to take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sandrock Ridge Care and Rehab, on the corner of Ledford and Eighth Drive.

5:15 p.m. The Craig Beautification Committee is scheduled to meet at the Craig Chamber of Commerce building. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Friday, Nov. 2

7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second eight-hour "crash course" for temporary hunter educations cards takes place at the Maybell Community Center. This class will be the last day before the start of the third season. Call 272-3238.

8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Friday is the last day for early voting in the 2007 general election. Go by Moffat County Clerk and Recorder, 221 W. Victory Way, Sutie 200. Federal law requires voters to present identification at the polls. Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.

6 p.m. The Yampa Valley Pregnancy Center sponsors its 15th Annual Chili Supper and Silent Auction at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Call Debbie at 824-5204.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. Doors open at 5 p.m.
