AARP to discuss hospital question
Craig The AARP Chapter No. 1418 will meet at 2 p.m. Monday in the dining room at Sunset Meadows I, 663 Ledford St. The program will include a discussion regarding The Memorial Hospital's mill levy proposal, referendum 1A. For more information, call chapter president Beverly Chapman at 824-5123.
Salad fundraiser Oct. 18
The Hayden Congregational Women's Fellowship Fall salad luncheon is at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Parish Hall, 202 East Jefferson Ave. The cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children. Women's Fellowship hosts two salad luncheons a year in order to raise money to donate to various mission projects and/or charitable organizations. Call Mary Kinkle at 276-3158.
Book fair at CIS
The Craig Intermediate School will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair through Friday.
Cello quartet performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday
The Rastrelli Cello Quartet performs at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Moffat County High School auditorium, as part of the Craig Concert Association series.
The Rasterlli Cello Quartet was formed in 2003, and is made up of four Russian cellists who live in Germany. This is the first time they are on tour in the United States.
Their program consists of classical music by Bach, Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, as well as pop selections by Gershwin, Bernstein ("West Side Story"), McCartney and Scott Joplin.
Tickets are $15 at the door if you do not have a Concert Association membership. Call Julie at 824-5251 for more information.
