American Legion to host indoor garage sale
October 1, 2007
The American Legion Auxiliary recently announced it will host its Second Annual Indoor Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13 at the legion post, 1055 County Road 7.
The public is invited to set up a table for individual sales for $10 per table. Setup will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 12.
For more information, call American Legion commander Mel Shockley at 824-3625 during the day or Mary Shockley at 824-3085 in the evening.
Wellness Wednesdays for adults older than 50
The Aging Well Program offers an all-day program, Wellness Wednesdays, each Wednesday at the American Legion Building, formerly known as the Shadow Mountain Clubhouse, in Craig for adults 50 and older.

Cub Scouts raising funds for activities
Cub Scout popcorn sales, the major fundraiser for the group to pay for activities and awards throughout the year, continue until Oct. 27. If any resident would like to purchase popcorn, and are not contacted by a Cub Scout, they should call Randy Looper at 826-4444.
