The Craig Police Department arrested a Craig man Thursday in connection to the September armed robbery of the east Kum and Go.
Keone Ikaika Beaulieu-Kalilikane, 20, is being held in the Moffat County Detention Center on armed robbery charges.
The robbery occurred at approximately 1:50 a.m. Sept. 26 at the 700 E. Victory Way location.
Beaulieu-Kalilikane allegedly entered the store dressed in black clothing, wearing a ski mask that covered his face, and after a few minutes, approached the clerk displaying a handgun and demanding all of the money in the cash register, according to a police press release.
An undetermined amount of cash was allegedly taken. The clerk was not harmed and no shots were fired.
Some of the clothing and the handgun were found in a nearby building during the investigation. Based on the on-going investigation, Detective Ken Johnson arrested Beaulieu-Kalilikane at 4:20 p.m. Thursday.
The case has been referred to the 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office for filing of formal charges.
