8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Aging Well Program meets for Wellness Wednesday at the American Legion Post, or the former Shadow Mountain Clubhouse. The program sponsors Wellness Wednesdays for adults 50 years old and older. Activities include art, writing and exercises classes. Lunch is served at each week's lunchtime presentation. 10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time at the Moffat County Libraries Craig branch, 570 Green St. This week's theme is children's book week.

4 to 5 p.m. Craig poets meet at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. All poets or aspiring poets are invited. Call 824-5343.

6:30 p.m. Moffat County Democrats host a potluck at the Center of Craig. The event is open to the public.

Joey Hendershott hosts a bake sale outside City Market to raise money for his trip to Washington, D.C., next March. He was nominated to participate in the People to People Leadership Forum. Call 824-6248.

Noon to 4 p.m. The Holiday Craft Show is at the Centennial Mall.

6 p.m. Humane Society of Moffat County meeting is at the Golden Cavvy. Public is invited to attend.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

2 p.m. Mesa State is scheduled to be at Colorado Northwestern Community College's Craig Campus to conduct a discussion about the possibility of bringing a four-year elementary teacher licensure program to Craig in partnership with CNCC. The forum is at the Bell Tower, Room 203.
