Today
7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Election Day. Federal law requires voters to present identification at the polls. Vote Centers are located at the Centennial Mall of Craig at 1111 West Victory Way in Craig; Hamilton Town Hall on South Highway 13 in Hamilton; the Maybell Community Center at 103 Ellis in Maybell; and Dinosaur Town Hall at 333 S. Stegosaurus in Dinosaur.
3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Parent-teacher conferences take place at Moffat County High School. All parents or guardians of MCHS students are encouraged to attend. Report cards may also be picked up at this time.
5:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Legal Services Project hosts "Ask-A-Lawyer Night" at the Moffat County Library's Craig Branch. The service entails a free, 10- to 15-minute consultation with member of the Northwest Colorado Bar Association. Call Colorado Legal Services at 276-2161 or 1-800-521-6968.
6:30 to 8:15 p.m. "Pulse" Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.
6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association support group meets. For more information, call Heidi at 824-2738.
7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.
Wednesday, Nov. 7
8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.
Noon. The Red Hat potluck takes place at the Craig Fire Station. Bring a dish to share and your own table service and drink. Call Peggy at 824-2338.
5:30 p.m. Financial adviser Brian Ludgate with Edward Jones will present "Rules of the Road: A Common Sense Seminar on Investing" at the Craig Chamber of Commerce, 360 E. Victory Way. The seminar is free, but space is limited. Please RSVP to Lisa at 824-0833 or Christina at 824-5689.
Thursday, Nov. 8
9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club is scheduled to meet at the Golden Cavvy Restaurant. "Quietus" by Vivian Schilling will be reviewed by Susie Begam-Violette. Call Veda at 824-5703.
10 and 11:30 a.m. Story time is at the Moffat County Libraries Craig branch, 570 Green St. This week's theme is children's book week.
Friday, Nov. 9
Joey Hendershott hosts a bake sale outside City Market to raise money for his Washington, D.C., trip next March. He was nominated to participate in the People to People Leadership Forum. Call 824-6248.
10 a.m. to noon. The Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association co-op classes are at the fairgrounds pavilion. Call Michelle at 620-0283.
Noon to 4 p.m. The Holiday Craft Show is at the Centennial Mall.
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. The Northwest Colorado Homeschool Association is scheduled to have PE Classes at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig. Call Michelle at 620-0283.
7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. Child care is provided. Call Caroline at 620-0659.
6 p.m. The Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way, hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. Doors open at 5 p.m.
