Debbie Barger: Customer service is not good

Saturday's editorial was regarding lack of appreciation to clients from the local stores.

I felt I had not observed blatant lack of courtesy, but then I went out at 10 a.m. to make a quick stop before heading out of town.

I went to a local fast-food place, and I was told that I could not get what I requested. What?

You can't reach into the refrigerator at 10 a.m. to get what I requested? No.

So I went to a local deli to get a sandwich. They did not have any tomatoes sliced. No tomatoes. I asked why they couldn't get a tomato and slice it? No.

Same price for the sandwich, but no tomato.

You are right. It's all semantics, and it's all rude.
