AARP meeting today

Kids and Cops Fishing Day is Wednesday

The annual Kids and Cops Fishing Day will be from 5 to 7 p.m. May 23, at the Little Rascals Fishing Pond behind the Moffat County Public Safety Center, 800 W. First St.

Hot dogs and chips will be provided, with prizes for the catching the biggest fish. For more information, call Sheriff Tim Jantz at 824-4495.

Shuttles available for graduation

In an effort to help parents, family members and community members with a smoother arrival and additional parking space for commencement exercises this year, the Moffat County School District, in cooperation Craig K-Mart, will be offering free shuttles from the K-Mart parking lot on graduation day, May 26.

Starting at 9 a.m., the MCSD transportation department will begin running shuttles between the high school's front entrance and the K-Mart parking lot. An area for parking will be designated at K-Mart for this event, and shuttles will run every few minutes until the designated parking area is full.

Following commencement exercises, shuttles will run for 30 minutes to take patrons back to their cars.

World Cafe event to be held Tuesday

A "World Cafe" event hosted by Comunidad Integrada is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig presenting an opportunity for the public to express opinions on what are important issues for the immigrant community.
