MCHS baseball coach Rich Sadvar wins coach of the year again, but contract not renewed

He won 89 percent of the Western Slope league games from 2005-07. In two years, he won two coach of the year awards. And he won’t be back to coach the Moffat County High School baseball team next year. Rich Sadvar’s contract is not being renewed.

Kids, cops converge for fishing day

The annual Kids and Cops fishing day will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at the Little Rascals Fishing Pond behind the Public Safety Center, 800 W. First St. Hot dogs and chips will be provided, with prizes for catching the biggest fish. For information, call Tim Jantz at 824-4495.
