Lynae Ellgen and Sandy Beran: Thanks for supporting parenting class
To the editor:
The Nurturing Parenting Class would like to thank all the businesses that supported our graduation and potluck barbecue dinner by donating products or providing discounts. A special thank you to Village Inn, City Market, Pepsi and Subway who were especially generous with their food and drinks.
Thank you also to Tony and LaSara Santistevan for organizing the final meal and Rob Winn for providing the grill and cooking the meat for us.
The Nurturing Parenting Program is a free, 16-week parenting course provided by a grant from Colorado Children's Fund. It is co-sponsored by Moffat County School District and the Visiting Nurse Association.
We had 23 graduates of the program this year. All 34 children who were involved with the program, the graduating parents, the four Children's leaders, all nine volunteer assistants and the two Adult leaders attended the final class.
We are look forward to another great class next year!
