Sunday concert exhibits local talent

On Sunday, several local musicians will exhibit their artistic talents during the annual Craig Talent Concert.

The Craig Concert Association sponsors the annual event. The concert begins at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Highlights of this year's concert include rock, blues and classical numbers, as well as songs written by residents such as John Husband, Bill Ronis and Mike Weatherell.

Youth violinist Tyler Gerber will play a duet with his brother, Kearn, who is a guitarist.

Other performers include Silas Canto, Andrew Altman and Adrienne Petch on piano and Brian and Steve Ghirardelli on blues guitar and vocals.

Brian Ghirardelli, Andy Cohle and Rich Foster will perform as a rock band, and Jim Vorhies is on classical guitar.

Cory Wojtkiewicz will perform on rock guitar, and on guitar and vocals are John Husband, Bob Laford, Bill Ronis, Mike Weatherell and Joe and Gail Canto.

Hannah Kirk and Tyler Gerber will perform violin solos, and Petch will also perform a modern dance routine.

Alexia Losolla and Irene Losolla will perform vocal pieces, while the High on Harmony quartet and four-part a cappella women's group Sweet Adelines will sing in unison.

The concert is free and will take place inside the Moffat County High School auditorium.

The concert association will be accepting early sign-ups for next year's performance series.
