Was the third time to be a charm?
The Moffat County High School girls soccer team has been forced to postpone its home opening game for the third time this season.
The Bulldogs were scheduled to play Steamboat Springs March 13, Montrose March 17 and Rifle today.
The Steamboat Springs game was made into an away game, Montrose is still a question mark and Rifle game was officially postponed Wedensday.
Mother Nature has not been cooperative with MCHS, and its host field is unsuitable for play.
Of the five games on their schedule, the Bulldogs have compiled a record of 0-2-1.
MCHS tied Glenwood Springs, 2-2, on the road, lost to Delta, 1-0, and Steamboat Springs shutout the "host" Bulldogs, 8-0.
First-year coach Seth Young said the team has been struggling to focus since returning from spring break.
"The first couple of weeks they were having a blast," he said. "I think the last couple of weeks there has been a lack of enthusiasm at recent practices. Hopefully, we can get them to come together."
