8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a Meet-and-Greet, hosted by a local business.
Noon. The Red Hat Pot Luck takes place at the Craig Fire Station. Bring a dish to share, your own table service and a drink. Call Peggy at 824-2338.
5 to 7 p.m. SHARE Craig registration day takes place at St. Michael Catholic Church, 678 School St. Call Karen at 824-7939.

Thursday, March 8
9:30 a.m. The Craig Book Club meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop. Sara Foland will review "A Craig at the Edge of the World," by Simon Winchester. Call Marty at 824-5488.
10 to 11:30 a.m. Themed stories will be read throughout the month at the Craig branch of the Moffat Libraries. "Sleep tonight" is Thursday's theme. It will explore the land of nod, dreams and other such sleepy things.
4 p.m. The Craig Poetry Group meets at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. Call 824-3990 for information.
6 to 7:30 p.m. Sagebrush Reading Council hosts its sixth annual Literacy Carnival at Moffat County High School, 900 Finley Lane. The carnival features games about reading and writing and a book trade. The event is free and open to preschoolers to sixth-graders who are accompanied by an adult.
Friday, March 9
5 to 7 p.m. The Craig Chamber of Commerce Business After-hours Mixer will be hosted by Cornerstone Realty, 528 Yampa Ave. Everyone is welcome to stop by for food, drinks, door prizes and to celebrate Cornerstone Realty's grand opening.
Saturday, March 10
8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Craig Youth Soccer Association hosts a clinic to certify and upgrade certifications for referees at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. All ages are welcome. The cost is $45. Call Kevin Brown at 824-4401, ext. 401, during the day or 824-2112 in the evening.
9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A benefit for the Perez family is at the Craig Elks Lodge, 43 W. Victory Way. Tickets are $5 for a lunch of chili, chips, a drink and dessert.
