Kathy Oberwitte: Is the District Attorney office doing its job?

I find it of great interest that our District Attorney's office is insistent on pressing reckless endangerment charges on my nephew Jordan Bailey for a crime he didn't commit.

Yes, Jordan Bailey, a juvenile, lost his father, Mike Bailey, at the tender age of 17 years old. Our District Attorney's office "cannot find it in them" to charge a man with a felony who allegedly chose to ingest a felony 6 drug, get behind the wheel of a 26,000 pound, vehicle and was involved in a crash that killed an innocent father who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Is our District Attorney office serving and protecting us from the true criminals, such as methamphetamine users, or are they harassing our minors, teenagers and young adults?

Kathy Oberwitte
