8 p.m. Moffat County High School graduate Juliann Albaugh presents an opera performance with pianist Geneva Fung at United Methodist Church, 736 Oak St., Steamboat Springs. The concert is free.

5 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary Post No. 4265 hosts its monthly senior citizens dinner at the VFW restaurant, 419 E. Victory Way. The menu will consist of lasagna, salad, garlic bread and ice cream cups. Call Jeannie Wixson at 276-3145.

9 a.m. to noon. The Veterans of Foreign Wars' "Just Say No" coloring contest is upstairs at the VFW hall, 419 E. Victory Way. The coloring contest is open to students in first through fourth grades. The poster contest is open to students in fifth through eighth grades. Coloring supplies are provided, or students may take their own. Call Dora at 824-2251.

Tuesday, Jan. 16

9:30 a.m. There will be a public hearing on the Community Services Block Grant 2007--2008 in the Board of County Commissioner's chambers of the Moffat County Courthouse.

Saturday, Jan. 27

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tryouts for the Craig Concert Association's Local Talent Concert takes place at the Moffat County High School auditorium. The Local Talent Concert is scheduled for April 1 at the MCHS auditorium. Call Jim Simpson at 824-4138.

6 p.m. Craig Rotary Club hosts its seventh annual Diamonds & Spurs dinner and dancing event at the Moffat County Fairgrounds Pavilion. Dinner includes crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, herb-crusted prime rib, Danish chicken, loaded mashed potatoes and dessert. A cash bar is available. The cost is $60 per person.
