Moffat County Neighbor: Nini Shroyer

Nini Shroyer

Age: 16

Place of birth: Rifle

Occupation: I work at the bookstore.

What should your business card say you do?

I clean books and put them away.

When did you move to Moffat County and what brought you here?

My parents decided to move here more than 10 years ago.

Describe your morning routine.

My older brother tells me to get up. I sleep for a half hour more than I'm supposed to, then, finally, get ready for school.

How would your friends describe you?

Quiet on occasion, but occasion is not very often. Very giggly.

Have you ever had a book change your life? What was it and why?

Sweetblood, because it tells me to take life seriously, but not too seriously.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a psychotherapist.

If you could invite any four people over for dinner, who would they be and what would you serve?

Kaleigh, Cheryl, Amber and Jocelyn. Japanese food.

What are the three things you can't live without?

Music, friends and family.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

When I was caught cheating on a test in front of everyone.

Which super hero would you be?

Spiderman, just to get to swing from webs.

What's the worst reason you've received/given for breaking up with someone?

That they had to move. Instead, they never did and went out with my best friend.

If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would it be?

My hearing, because I'd want to see how it'd be.

What band/performer would you stand in line to get tickets for?

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love?

Sometimes I listen to country.

What would you do if you won $10 million?

I'd probably give some to my friends just to see them happy, same with my family and the rest I'd use to buy a house.

What do you think about the House Bill 1196, which would exempt assisted-living facilities from the state's smoking ban, but limiting smokers to designated areas inside?

I don't think they should do that. Some people are on oxygen. It wouldn't be fair for those people because there would be less places to go just because they are on oxygen.
