Mary Jane Alexander: The benefit of shopping local

Craig — To the Editor:
On Jan. 29, I purchased a leather recliner at Homemaker Furnishing on Ranney Street in Craig. After shoulder surgery, I could not sleep in bed. I slept in that recliner for more than six weeks.
Needless to say, I ruined the matting or filling as I am a queen-sized old lady. I called the store, explaining the situation. They sent a very nice young man named Wes.
He not only fixed my chair, but also my husband's recliner; we didn't buy his at their store. Wes was so outgoing and personal.
Needless to say, we will be doing our furniture shopping with Homemaker Furnishing. Wow, what customer service.
