Have you ever had a book change your life? What is it and why? "Prairie: Friends or Foe," a book I edited about the plains in Eastern Colorado where I grew up

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? Teacher

If you could invite any four people to dinner, who would they be and what would you serve? Billy Graham, President George Bush Jr., George Strait and Laura Ingalls Wilder, and I would serve roast beef

What are three things you can't live without? Health, husband and a sound mind

What is one thing on your holiday wish list? Happiness

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go and why? Nova Scotia, I would like to see where "Anne of Green Gables" was written

If you had to give up one of your five senses, which would it be? Hearing

What band or performer would you stand in line to get tickets for? Guy Lombardo, I like that Big Band era

What music, book or movie are you ashamed to admit you love? "Grapes of Wrath"

What would you do if you won $10 million? Give part of it to the church and the rest for scholarships for my grandchildren
