Craig — The Moffat County Sheriff's Office arrested a Craig man Dec. 14 on charges alleging he sexually assaulted a child.

The Sheriff's Office received information relating to the alleged assault that day and responded that evening.

The man is charged with three counts of sexual assault on a child by a person of trust, one count of aggravated incest and one count of unlawful sexual contact.

The man is believed to be a family member of the child.

He currently is being held at Moffat County Jail with a $30,000 bond. A court date for the charges is expected to be set at the man's advisement hearing later in December.
