Noon to 7 p.m. The Winter Arts and Craft Show is at the Centennial Mall.

5 to 8 p.m. The annual Nativity Set will be on display at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ninth and Finley. The display is open to the public. Call Coleen Fenton at 824-9638 or Heidi Bohne at 824-5337.

6 p.m. The Elks Lodge hosts bingo each Friday night. Fifteen games are played with a minimum payout of $1,000 each night. The lodge is located at 43 W. Victory Way. Doors open at 5 p.m.

7 to 9 p.m. Celebrate Recovery meets at First Baptist Church, 1150 W. Ninth St. The purpose of the group is to help people overcome hurts, habits and hang-ups, in a safe environment. Live worship music and childcare is provided. Latecomers welcome. Call Caroline 620-0659.

1 to 4 p.m. The Outreach Group of St. Mark's Episcopal Church and Lutheran Church of Grace hosts its annual Fair Trade Fair at 657 Green St. "Gifts with a conscience" are available, such as fairly traded handcrafted items, food products, tea, coffee, chocolate, books and ornaments. 1:30 p.m. The Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary bingo is at the VFW Hall, 419 E. Victory Way. Open to the public. Sunday bingo sessions occur every week. Call Mary Walters at 824-2923.

2 p.m. The Local Talent Contest put on by the Craig Concert Association takes place in the Moffat County High School auditorium. Free to the public.

Monday, Dec. 10

9 to 11 a.m. Toddler/preschool playgroup is at Serendipity's. Call Kevin 824-1703.

10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. A forum to discuss the Sunshine laws - open meetings - is in the Moffat County School District Administration building's boardroom. Attorneys from the city, county and press will present subject matter with a question and answer session to follow. Lunch is provided. 6 p.m. The Humane Society of Moffat County's monthly meeting is at Golden Cavvy. Public is invited to attend.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

11 a.m. A public hearing on the 2008-09 Community Services Block Grant takes place in the Moffat County Commission chamber at the Moffat County Courthouse.

6:30 to 8:15 p.m. "Pulse" Young group, for youths ages 11 to 18, meets every Tuesday at the New Creation Church in the Centennial Mall. Call 756-0010.

7 p.m. Moffat County High School and Craig Middle School will have their Winter Concert in the high school auditorium. The public is invited to attend.

7 p.m. Comunidad Integrada offers a free English and Spanish learning club, Intercambio, every Tuesday at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Call 846-5521.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

All branches of the Moffat County Libraries are scheduled to be closed for computer upgrades.

8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a meet-and-greet, hosted by a local business.

9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The Aging Well's all-day program, "Wellness Wednesdays," is at the American Legion Building for adults "50 and Better." The lunchtime presentation is "Living with Low Vision and Aging" by Deb Dunaway, OIB Program coordinator and job coach with the Independent Life Center, Inc. Lunch will be served.
