Craig Lori Rugh - vice president of Chapter AJ, Craig, of the PEO International Sisterhood - awards Amanda Woods, daughter of Wendy Palmeter, with a $1,500 grant to continue her studies at Colorado State University. Woods is pursing a degree in economics with a business minor.
Woods is a graduate of Colorado Mountain College, where she was Phi Theta Kappa president. She is a senior at CSU.
The PEO Sisterhood is an international women's philanthropic group. It has various types of loan funds and scholarship awards available to help women in post-secondary and graduate school. For more information, call Sandie Johns at 824-7455.
