Craig — To the editor:

As I read the Daily Press each day, I am constantly reading stories, meetings and so about making our city beautiful and more consumer friendly.

May I suggest the merchants on Yampa sweep their sidewalks. I was in town the other day and as I looked at the beautiful hanging plants my attention was soon diverted to the trash and dirt on the sidewalks, especially between Victory Way and Sixth Street, on both sides of the street. When I go to Steamboat, I don't see that.

I wonder why only in Craig do we have dirty downtown sidewalks.
