Class of 1977 to reunite

The Moffat County High School class of 1977 will have its 30-year reunion later this month.

Organizers said there will be a mixer, beginning at 6 p.m., on Friday, Aug. 17, at J W Snacks Gulf Coast Bar and Bar-B-Que, 210 E. Victory Way in Craig. On Saturday, Aug. 18, there will be a barbecue at the Moffat County Fairgrounds picnic shelter, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Looking for local talent

The Craig Concert Association is inviting musicians, singers and dancers to tryout for the Local Talent Concert.

The tryouts are from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Moffat County High School auditorium. They are on a first come, first served basis. Tryouts should be 3 to 5 minutes long.

Submit a tape or CD before Sept. 8 if you are unable to make the tryouts. The Local Talent Concert is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 9 at the high school auditorium. Call 824-4138.
