8 a.m. The Craig Downtown Business Association meets at Serendipity Coffee Shop, 576 Yampa Ave. The second Wednesday of each month is a Meet-and-Greet, hosted by a local business.

6 to 7:30 p.m. The CSU Moffat County Extension Office invites the public to join a new Northwest Colorado Gardening Club. The meeting will be held at the CSU Moffat County Extension Office, 539 Barclay St. For more information, contact Elisa at 824-9180.

6:30 p.m. Moffat County High School teacher Susan Whinery offers an Internet safety class for parents and community members in Room 306 at the high school, 900 Finley Lane. Call 824-7036.

4 p.m. Craig Poetry girls meets every Thursday except the second Thursday of the month at Downtown Books, 543 Yampa Ave. Call 824-5343

7 p.m. The Craig Rural Fire Protection District monthly board meeting takes place on the 26th instead of the regularly scheduled third Thursday of the month.

7 p.m. Heartbeat, a suicide support group, meets at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 630 Green St. Anyone is welcome. Call Barb Seed at 824-6541.

9 a.m. to noon The Mite Society of First Christian Church has its annual Spring Bazaar and Bake Sale and the JOY Circle Plant Sale at the church fellowship hall, 960 W. Victory Way.

10 a.m. to noon The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association will be offering a Children's Immunizations Clinic at the Craig VNA. All children's immunizations are $0 to $14. Bring your child's immunization records. No appointment is necessary. For more information please call the VNA at 824-8233.

11 a.m. The Bodacious Babes Chapter of the Red Hat Society is sponsoring a luncheon and comedy show at the Boys and Girls Club of Craig, 1324 E. U.S. Highway 40. Comedienne Edith Weiss will be the featured performer with all proceeds donated to the Boys and Girls Club. Tickets are available at $25 each by calling Carol Stewart at 824-4198, Cheryl Bush at 824-2567 or Jaci Mock at 272-3253.

Deadline for anyone interested in having a softball team must have his or her county light fees ($150) paid. Drop them off at Freight Damaged Furniture. Call Cherie at 824-4864.

5:30 to 8 p.m. The American Legion Auxiliary of Craig is hosting a spaghetti dinner in honor of the family of Chance Phelps, a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corp who was killed Iraq April 9, 2004. Chance's mother, sister, grandmother and others have been on a walking tour from California to Wyoming to raise money for the Fisher House, a house only for veterans. The spaghetti dinner is a fundraiser for the Fisher House. Cost is $7 per person. For more information, call Luann Williams at 824-5600.

6 p.m. Communities Overcoming Meth Abuse presents a free seminar on the liabilities of hiring a former drug user at the Holiday Inn of Craig, 300 S. Colo. Highway 13. Attorney Dave Smith of Mountain States Employers Council will speak.

Noon The Red Hat Society potluck is at the Craig Fire Station. Take a dish to share and your own table service and drink. Call Peggie at 824-2338.
