Business briefs for April 23
Centennial Home Care named to magazine list
Centennial Home Care, which provides home nursing care, was recently named to Success in Home Care magazine's top 25 percent of nation home health agencies list.
"We were very excited because we're just a small company and to be recognized in that way is pretty exciting," office manager Mardi Oliver said.
Centennial Home Care's sole office is in Centennial Mall at 1111 W. Victory Way.
The company provides home nursing assistance for those who were recently released from hospitals. Employees help clients with medications, IVs and dressing changes.
"Little things people can't always do for themselves when they first get out of the hospital," Oliver said.
Companies named to the magazine's list were selected on the basis of quality of care, quality improvement and financial performance, Oliver said. The list was published in the May/June issue of the magazine.
TLC Carpet One accepts welcome mat designs
Carpet One Floor & Home stores throughout the country, including TLC Carpet One in Craig, have partnered with Country Living magazine to offer the Design for Pink contest.

Since the campaign launched in 2004, Carpet One Floor & Home has raised more than $450,000 for breast cancer programs.
The welcome mat contest is open to all U.S. residents. The deadline is 11:59 p.m. May 31.
To enter, drop off a design that's at least 8 1/2 by 11 inches to TLC at 1820 W. Victory Way or upload a jpeg of the design at CarpetOne.com.
Five finalists will be chosen and posted at www.countryliving.com for voting June 18 to July 2. The winning design, chosen by July 6, will be included in Carpet One's fall 2007 welcome mat collection and featured in the October issue of Country Living.
The winning designer will receive $2,500 worth of Lees carpet and 10 of their own welcome mat design.
